We met Casey + Tristan through Casey’s brother and sister in law. When Casey reached out and told us that she was getting married, we were elated to plan and prepare for her spring wedding in the stunning town of Bluffton, South Carolina. And then 2020 did its worst. Casey and Tristan, like so many other couples this year, ended up pushing their wedding back to late summer in hopes that the pandemic would be better by then. Though they had to make some adjustments to their initial plans, they handled themselves with so much grace and love, focusing on the beauty of the fact that whenever and however it happened, they would finally be married. They exchanged their vows privately in the forest before the ceremony began, braved the misty rain, danced away under the twinkling lights, and released lanterns over the river in memory of those they loved. Their day was beautiful, full of so much love, joy, and celebration, and was truly an honor to be a part of!
